This Acceptable Use Policy describes the behavior we expect from anyone who uses useguardedheart.com (the "Site") and, when launched, the Guarded Heart mobile application (the "App"). It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Use Guarded Heart in good faith
Guarded Heart is a tool for personal freedom and biblical discipleship. Please use it for its intended purpose: pursuing growth, accountability, and lasting heart change.
Things you agree not to do
- Attempt to access, probe, or disrupt parts of the Site or App you don't own.
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, or bypass protection features built into the App.
- Impersonate another person, account, church, or organization.
- Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that sexualizes minors. The Guarded Heart name will never be used to host or distribute such content.
- Use the Site or App to spam, scrape, harvest contact information, or send unsolicited messages to other users.
- Resell, sublicense, or repackage Guarded Heart features without our written permission.
- Use Guarded Heart in ways that would put another person — including a spouse, child, or employee — under coercive surveillance against their consent.
Accountability features
Guarded Heart will offer accountability and discipleship features that may include trusted companions, shared reflections, or church-based circles. These features are designed for consenting participants. They are not a substitute for parental controls, employer monitoring, or court-ordered supervision.
Reporting abuse
If you encounter behavior on the Site or App that violates this policy — including misuse of accountability features — please report it to hello@useguardedheart.com. Include enough detail for us to investigate.
Enforcement
Violations may result in warnings, removal of content, suspension, or termination of access to the Site or App. Serious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities. We try to apply this policy with grace and consistency, recognizing that everyone using Guarded Heart is on a journey.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product and community grow. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
