A small beta first, then a public iOS launch with Android close behind. Real users, real freedom, slowly built — the long road we set out to walk.
Lasting change doesn't come from shame or secrecy.
We believe lasting change does not come from shame, secrecy, or making spouses and loved ones act as babysitters. It comes from learning to rely on God, understanding personal triggers, and growing in self-control.
The app will use screen protection as a starting point, but its deeper purpose is discipleship. When a user is tempted to unlock or bypass protection, the app will help them reflect on what led to that moment: the time of day, environment, emotions, habits, and desires behind the action. Instead of only saying "no," the app will guide users toward biblical truth, personal responsibility, and healthier patterns of thought and behavior.
We exist to help people recognize the situations that lead them toward temptation, shift their focus from selfish desire to selfless devotion to God, and build a life of integrity, wisdom, and freedom. Our goal is not just to block access, but to help users understand their hearts, renew their minds, and walk in lasting freedom through faith, accountability, and grace.
A note from the founder.
My name is Noah Emig. I've personally walked through the struggle that Guarded Heart is designed to help with. I know how isolating it feels, how shame multiplies in secret, and how the existing tools often treat the symptom rather than the heart.
I'm building Guarded Heart because the people I love deserve a tool that meets them with truth and grace — one that helps them grow, not one that simply watches them.
